Our classes provide wheel-throwing and handbuilding instruction within a creative, supportive environment.

Learn the fundamental techniques of handbuilding in ceramics (pinch, coil, and slab methods), which provide a foundation and understanding of pottery. Explore utilitarian and sculptural vessel formats.

As a beginner, you will also learn basic wheel skills (centering, opening, pulling, shaping, trimming and finishing), and apply these skills to create basic cylindrical forms.Our small classes are geared toward beginners; although, instruction may be tailored based on interest and skill level. (6 person minimum.)
